General Admission Requirements

Admission to Throneroom College of Nursing Sciences, Kafanchan is merit-based and competitive

Applicants must:

  • Demonstrate good moral character and discipline.
  • Satisfy the academic requirements as stipulated for the ND/HND Nursing programme.
  • Meet the age requirement as prescribed by regulatory bodies (16 years and above).
  • Provide evidence of medical fitness.
  • Pass in all required examinations and interviews
Admission Requirements for National Diploma (ND) Programme

Applicants for the ND Nursing Programme must:

  • Have successfully completed Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE/WAEC/NECO/NABTEB).
  • Obtain a minimum of five (5) credit passes including required subjects (see Section 3.4) in not more than two sittings.
  • Meet the minimum age requirement (16 years by the time of admission).
  • Satisfy any additional criteria set by the College, NBTE, and NMCN
Admission Requirements for Higher National Diploma (HND) Programme

Applicants for the HND Nursing Programme must:

  • Have successfully completed the ND Nursing Programme with a minimum lower credit pass.
  • Meet the minimum duration of clinical practice or supervised work experience as required.
  • Satisfy other additional criteria set by the College, NMCN and NBTE.

 

 

Required ‘O Level’ Subjects

Applicants for the ND/HND Nursing Programme must have credit passes in the following subjects at SSCE/NECO/WAEC/NABTEB level at not more than two sittings. NABTEB cannot be combined with any other result
